“Labyrinthine” continues the VARYX series’ descent into darker emotional territory. Built around gothic metal tension and a steady, driving pulse, the song explores obsession as a slow, deliberate surrender.

The atmosphere is velvet-dark and claustrophobic, framed by haunted guitars, symphonic shadows, and forward motion that feels impossible to question. Desire masquerades as direction. The deeper the listener moves, the more resistance fades.

At first, the experience feels intoxicating — charged, magnetic, alive. But over time, what began as a thrill hardens into a ritual. Ritual becomes dependence. And eventually, the path itself becomes the destination.

There is no resolution here — only immersion.

“Labyrinthine” is designed to feel like a corridor with no exit, where losing yourself begins to feel disturbingly correct.

LYRICS:

She said, “Follow me… but don’t look back.”

Velvet breath in the static light

She moves like midnight dressed in spite

Pink streaks blaze through strands of coal

Eyes like fire... she sees your soul

Her lips spell secrets I can’t unlearn

She laughs like sex, like wax that burns

Tattoo curls up her serpent skin

A vine of hearts... each one a sin

And the floorboards pulse beneath our feet

Like the club itself has a heartbeat

I should’ve known, should’ve turned away

But she smiled like rot, and I... obeyed

Labyrinthine, she led me in

Through corridors of carnal sin

Her breath was wine, her nails were knives

And every kiss cut through my life

She said “The deeper you go, the less you’ll feel…”

I lost myself beneath her heels

Labyrinthine, no end, no way

But God, I’ve never felt so right

Mirrored rooms and bodies sway

Smoke wraps tight like satin grey

I saw my face in fractured glass

It smiled back... but made no ask

She laced my neck with phantom chains

Whispered rules, and broke them again

“This isn’t Hell… But it tastes the same”

Then carved her name inside my brain

She said, “What’s left to fear, my dear?”

“You’re already dead in here.”

And I… Smiled back

Labyrinthine, she led me in

Through corridors of carnal sin

Her breath was wine, her nails were knives

And every kiss cut through my life

She said “The deeper you go, the less you’ll feel…”

But numbness never felt so real

Labyrinthine, no end, no light

Just her…and every wrong felt right

I never asked her name

She never asked if I wanted to leave

She just opened the door

And became the key

Labyrinthine, she led me down

Where kings have crawled and gods have drowned

She tasted sweet, like venom wine

And filled my lungs with her design

I begged for more, she closed the gate

And whispered, “This is now your fate”…

Labyrinthine, no end, no light

But I still follow her through the night

She drips with sin... and I drink it in.

I never left…

I just came again…
